The short version: we collect what we need to sell you the product, deliver it and email you about it. Payments and emails run through specialised providers. We don't sell your data. You can ask us to see or delete it at any time.
1. Who is responsible

2. What we collect
- Order details: name, email address, billing country and address where needed for tax, what you bought and when.
- Payment details: handled directly by the payment provider. We receive confirmation of payment, not your full card number.
- Emails: the messages you send us, and whether our emails are opened or clicked (standard email-platform statistics).
- Audit intake (audit customers only): business name, website, city, services and competitors you choose to share. We never ask for passwords.
- Website usage: basic technical data (IP address, browser, pages visited) and, if you allow it, advertising cookies such as the Meta Pixel.
3. Why we use it, and the legal basis

4. Who handles your data for us
We use trusted providers who process data only on our instructions:
- Checkout, payments, invoices and product delivery: Hotmart [confirm the contracting entity and location in your Hotmart account].
- Email: MailerLite [confirm entity and location].
- Website hosting: Netlify [confirm entity and location].
- Advertising measurement: Meta Platforms (only if the Meta Pixel is enabled and you have consented where required).
- Fonts: Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads fonts.
- Accounting: our accountant, for tax compliance.
Some of these providers are outside the European Economic Area (for example in the United States). Where that happens, transfers are covered by an adequacy decision (such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
We do not sell or rent your personal data.
5. How long we keep it
- Order and invoice records: as long as tax law requires (in Portugal, generally up to 10 years).
- Marketing emails: until you unsubscribe.
- Support emails and audit material: up to [24 months] after your last contact, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
6. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@tryrecommendedbyai.com and we'll reply within one month. You can also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the CNPD (www.cnpd.pt), or to the authority where you live.
7. Cookies
The site itself needs no cookies to work. If advertising cookies (such as the Meta Pixel) are enabled, they are used only with your consent where the law requires it, and you can change your choice at any time. Our checkout provider may set its own cookies needed to complete your purchase.
